INTRODUCTION TO OUR FOAM PROPORTIONER
Marsol offers a wide range of foam proportioning equipment such as in-line inductor, water motor foam pump, ratio controller and balanced pressure proportioner. Marsol has designed and developed MX series in-line foam inductors.
MX SERIES IN-LINE FOAM INDUCTORS
MX Series Foam inductors are in-line foam inductors with 1% or 3% foam mixing ratio. Standard inductors are manufactured using stainless steel 316L material and optional materials like Super Duplex, Titanium, AB-2 are available upon request. Inductors are available with ANSI #150 or PN-16 flange connections, 1.5” inductor is available in threaded or flanged connections. Our UL Listed Inductors are available in Stainless Steel 316L and Super Duplex material with AFFF-3% foam mixing ratio.


WATER MOTOR PISTON PUMP
Water Motor Driven Foam Pumps are volumetric foam proportioners that does not require any external power to operate. Other than adequate water supply, Foam pumps are available with 1%, 3% or 6% foam mixing ratio.
Water Motor is coupled with a piston pump and is particularly suited for use in systems with low start flows (for example, sprinkler systems) as well as for extinguishing media concentrates with low viscosity such as wetting agents.
WATER MOTOR GEAR PUMP
Water Motor Driven Foam Pumps are volumetric foam proportioners that does not require any external power to operate. Other than adequate water supply, Foam pumps are available with 1%, 3% or 6% foam mixing ratio.
Water Motor is coupled with a gear pump and is particularly suited for use in systems with higher flow rates (for example, deluge systems) as well as for extinguishing media concentrates with high viscosity.


RATIO CONTROLLER
Ratio Controllers are commonly used in bladder tank system, balanced or in-line balanced pressure proportioning systems for aircraft hangars, loading racks, tank farms and foam water sprinkler systems. The ration controller is designed for installation between two flanges or the same nominal size as the ratio controller. The components are constructed of ASTM 85-5-5-5 bronze and inlet is tapered and machines to a smooth finish to maximize the water stream efficiency. The inlet nozzle and metering orifice secured by stainless steel retaining ring. The foam concentrate inlet has a female NPT thread and contains foam concentrate metering orifice to proportion over the specified flow range without manual adjustment. Sizes of 3”, 4”, 6” and 8” are available.
